Wolverine Premiere!

Hugh Jackman riding in on a motorcycle for the Premiere
Ryan Reynolds--Wouldn't look up ever!!

Liev Schreiber--what a fun guy!

Hugh Jackman giving me a high five, while I was taking the picture. Whew!

Adam walking the red carpet with The Harkins.
Me and Aimee got the chance to go to the World Premiere of "Wolverine". Harkins Theatres won the chance to have the world premiere here in Tempe. So of course Adam tried liked crazy to get me tickets to go. We got tickets!! Adam had to work so he couldn't go with me. So I always have to drag Aimee with me. But we both had a blast. Especially after we both got to touch Hugh Jackman's hands. We were so close to the stars on the red carpet we could have given them a hug, if we were so bold. Anyway, it was a long agonizing process to wait and wait and wait to see them. But finally after a mere short 4 hours, we were able to get the front row at the red carpet and just watched and waited for all of them to come by. Then afterward we did eventually go in and watch the movie. Neither of us were to excited to actually watch the movie. But after it was all over, we kind of liked the movie too. Would we do this again? You bet!

Canyon Lake!

Max, Chase, Summer, & Nicholas
The boys decided to jump in the COLD water.

Me and Logan

Chase and Nicholas on the tube.
This weekend my brother Tim invited me and the two boys to go to the lake and try out his new boat. We jumped at the chance to go. Chase or Logan had never been on a boat before, and were really excited to try it. Boy, did we have fun! Chase got to ride on the tube. Logan loved going fast on the boat, even though he does not like rides at Disneyland. It was a nice day, not too warm and not too cold. Although some of us did end up getting sunburned. We went to Canyon Lake. We had never been there before. It was a nice lake. We went exploring all around it. Then we stopped to eat lunch, and then the kids wanted to try tubing. Even though the water was extremely cold. They had a blast! Thanks to Tim for inviting us. We hope to be able to go again sometime. Hopefully Adam can get a day off to go with us next time.

Spring Break!!!!

This week was Spring Break for the kids. We usually don't do anything, because Adam has to work. But he needed to go to California for meetings, so I decided we should all go and have fun. I made Aimee go with us so I would have someone to hang out with beside my kids. So we went to the Beach and made sandcastles, played in the water and searched for seashells. Then the next day we went to Disneyland. It was busy, but bearable. Our longest wait for a ride was 45 minutes. The rest were not too bad. The park was open extra long because of spring break. So we spent almost 12 hours there. We were able to do everything we wanted to in that time. We were exhausted by the end. But it was well worth it.

Suns Game!!!

On saturday we went to a Suns game. Our first ever. We have never been before and the kids have never been. So at the Scout auction we bid on tickets and of course won them. We thought we might as well go. We have been wanting to go to a game for awhile now. It was awesome, except the Suns weren't doing that well until the end. They did end up winning, and I guess that's all that matters. The boys had fun, although I think Chase had more fun than Logan. Logan was just there for the snacks. We will always remember that our first Suns game was with the whole family.

Ostrich Festival!

Chase riding the zip line
The goats sure like Logan

Our two ostrich boys

The family with the sea lions
On Saturday we had the chance to go the Ostrich Festival. We had never been before and wanted to check it out. We won the bid for the tickets at the scout auction the week before. It was interesting to say the least. It was like a big county fair with interesting shows to see. They had a Sea Lion show, Ostrich races, a motorcycle stunt show, circus acts, and more. They also had carnival rides and of course carnival food! They also had a petting zoo, and a pet adoption place to go and see dogs and cats up for adoption. All in all we had fun. It was a little warm and tiring walking around, but the sea lion show at the end made up for it. We even got to take a picture with the lovable sea lions.

Field Day!

Chase in the race

Chase at the high jump

Chase in the long jump

Today at Chase's school they had Field Day. They got to go around and do a bunch of different events. They had a high jump, long jump, basketball shoot, relay races, standing jump, and a ball throw. Chase was so excited to go and participate. The parents were invited to come, so Me, Adam and Logan went. The first event Chase's class did was the high jump and he was the winner. He was so excited! We never thought he would be a high jumper. Then at the running long jump he was in the top three in his class. And of course in the races, he was usually first or second in all of his races. He certainly has alot of stamina. He just wanted to keep going. We are very proud of him. Good Job, Chase!

Student of the Month

This month Chase was selected to be the Student of the Month at his school. They had a ceremony where they got their certificates and got their picture taken for the school bulletin board. We got to go and see it. Chase seemed nervous and wouldn't smile much for us. So afterward when his class was leaving to go back to class, we stopped the teacher and asked for another picture of Chase. This time he seemed to smile a little better for us. Logan was real happy for his brother. Congratulations Chase for your achievement!
