Student of the Month

This month Chase was selected to be the Student of the Month at his school. They had a ceremony where they got their certificates and got their picture taken for the school bulletin board. We got to go and see it. Chase seemed nervous and wouldn't smile much for us. So afterward when his class was leaving to go back to class, we stopped the teacher and asked for another picture of Chase. This time he seemed to smile a little better for us. Logan was real happy for his brother. Congratulations Chase for your achievement!

Let's Go Hiking!

This weekend we decided to go hiking. Thanks to Ashlyn for telling me about it. We went to a place called Peralta Trails in the Superstition Mountains. The boys loved it! It was their first time hiking. We were quiet amazed that they both hiked up and down on their own. It was a pretty difficult trail. There were lots of rocks and steep climbs. Logan did fall down a couple of times but then he got right back up and kept going. Even when we decided it was time to head back down, he was ready to keep going up. We couldn't have asked for a better day either. The weather was nice, not too hot and not too cold. Just perfect. We look forward to doing it again someday. Next time Chase would like to bring some of his cousins.
