Spring Break!!!!

This week was Spring Break for the kids. We usually don't do anything, because Adam has to work. But he needed to go to California for meetings, so I decided we should all go and have fun. I made Aimee go with us so I would have someone to hang out with beside my kids. So we went to the Beach and made sandcastles, played in the water and searched for seashells. Then the next day we went to Disneyland. It was busy, but bearable. Our longest wait for a ride was 45 minutes. The rest were not too bad. The park was open extra long because of spring break. So we spent almost 12 hours there. We were able to do everything we wanted to in that time. We were exhausted by the end. But it was well worth it.

Suns Game!!!

On saturday we went to a Suns game. Our first ever. We have never been before and the kids have never been. So at the Scout auction we bid on tickets and of course won them. We thought we might as well go. We have been wanting to go to a game for awhile now. It was awesome, except the Suns weren't doing that well until the end. They did end up winning, and I guess that's all that matters. The boys had fun, although I think Chase had more fun than Logan. Logan was just there for the snacks. We will always remember that our first Suns game was with the whole family.

Ostrich Festival!

The family with the sea lions
On Saturday we had the chance to go the Ostrich Festival. We had never been before and wanted to check it out. We won the bid for the tickets at the scout auction the week before. It was interesting to say the least. It was like a big county fair with interesting shows to see. They had a Sea Lion show, Ostrich races, a motorcycle stunt show, circus acts, and more. They also had carnival rides and of course carnival food! They also had a petting zoo, and a pet adoption place to go and see dogs and cats up for adoption. All in all we had fun. It was a little warm and tiring walking around, but the sea lion show at the end made up for it. We even got to take a picture with the lovable sea lions.

Field Day!

Chase in the race

Chase at the high jump

Chase in the long jump

Today at Chase's school they had Field Day. They got to go around and do a bunch of different events. They had a high jump, long jump, basketball shoot, relay races, standing jump, and a ball throw. Chase was so excited to go and participate. The parents were invited to come, so Me, Adam and Logan went. The first event Chase's class did was the high jump and he was the winner. He was so excited! We never thought he would be a high jumper. Then at the running long jump he was in the top three in his class. And of course in the races, he was usually first or second in all of his races. He certainly has alot of stamina. He just wanted to keep going. We are very proud of him. Good Job, Chase!
